- 6-10 weeks after purchase, your car will be travelling inside a RORO vessel from Japan. Track the car's progress online.
- We take our relevant copies and forward all your paperwork on to you, once it arrives.
- Sit back and relax. We process all of your customs paperwork and pay all fees.
- Take your export certificate to port and drive home* or allow us to arrange onwards transport.
- After passing an MOT, it costs £55 to register your vehicle!

Terms of Sale
Club Japan Vehicle Imports operate as a broker and shipping agent, providing a Japanese auction vehicle purchasing service, supplying vehicles to order at the request of the customer and at no stage, own the vehicle in question.
Vehicles imported from Japan are not supplied as road worthy vehicles, they are supplied with no MOT and as such will generally require work to be made UK road legal.
As with buying a vehicle at auction in the UK, the customer accepts that this comes with additional risk factors and that no warranty or guarantee is provided on any vehicle sourced to order from Japan. All work required to make a vehicle fit for UK roads is entirely at the expense of the customer, not Club Japan Imports.
£1000 deposit to be paid to initiate bidding access, auction inspections and auction sheet translation.
If we are unable to source a suitable vehicle to customer’s budget and specification, this is fully refundable.
This deposit acts as security on funds we keep in Japan with our Japanese partner as per their terms on non paying bidders.
When a vehicle is won at auction, Club Japan require the quoted shipped price to be paid into our account within 3 working days unless otherwise agreed in advance.
If this process is not completed, or payment is not received for any reason, you agree that the vehicle will be returned to auction and the deposit forfeited to cover relisting and reselling fees for the vehicle without exception.

Purchase to Collection date averages 12-14 weeks.
Import Duty is set at 10% of the cost of vehicle, shipping and fees.
VAT at 20% is payable on Import duty, shipping, fees and vehicle purchase price. This will be billed 48hrs before vehicle arrival.
Registration packages are available in our store as seen and are not included as standard
CJI will pay all customs charges and lodge all required paperwork with HMRC allowing release of the vehicle from customs and excise.
Upon vehicle arrival, it is standard to have 1 week free port storage, any charges incurred by later collection will be payable by the customer. New paragraph
